Quick update - I have now secured Julie Dunkley from Gloucestershire Wedding Hair & Make Up to work her magic on us (me, mother of the bride and the bridesmaids).

Crafty bits ...

For my birthday I got a lovely little machine:

So I have started to make some heart-on-string decorations to go somewhere at our wedding reception:
A little scruffy (haven't used a sewing machine since circa 1992!) but I am sure it will improve - plus it adds to the 'shabby-chic-ness'. (Ribbon brand is 'East of India' -wonderful stuff)

PS - Our freshly printed invitations arrived today - will be sending out end April/ start May - keep a look out for them in the post!
